In loving memory of Annette M. Seaman (Pichette). Beloved wife of Donald J. Seaman for 64 years. Devoted mother to Robert, Catherine (Warren), Joanne (Paul) and Jennifer (Frank). Loving grandmother to Emily, Caroline, Kyle, Diane, Brett, Claire, William, and Dominic, and great-grandmother to Angelo. Annette was born on June 12, 1934 in Montpelier, Vermont to Caroline Buley and Albert Pichette and was raised in Brattleboro, Vermont. She was valedictorian of her high school and earned a full scholarship to the College of Mount St. Vincent in NY. After graduation, she worked at Valley Stream South High School, where she met Donald, and they were married in 1959. Annette worked as an English teacher and reading specialist at schools on Long Island and Brooklyn until her retirement in 1994. She will be remembered for her many sewing, quilting, and needlework projects, which now decorate our homes, and her love of reading, which she shared with her children and grandchildren.
