Angela Renda
9/26/1948 – 10/27/2023
Angela Renda, 75 of Merrick, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2023, surrounded by the loving presence of her family.
She was born to the late Leonardo and Antonia Manno on September 26, 1948, in Alcamo, Sicily. Angela was the eldest child of seven children and always cared for her siblings.
She married her tender-hearted love Salvatore Renda in 1969. Angela was his angel caregiver continuously giving him the love and affection he needed. Angela is survived by two children: Nick Renda and Maria Elena Parrino. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Paulina, Salvatore, Isabella, Vincenzo, and Vanessa.
Angela had a love for cooking traditional Sicilian meals, especially at family holidays and gatherings. The love for her family was deep and will continue to live on in our hearts.
