Mildred T. Kiefer (née Alvino), wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on September 13th in Connecticut. Preceded in death by husband, Richard, parents Margaret and Joseph Alvino, and nine brothers and sisters, she will be remembered for her laughter, sense of humor, caring, generous spirit, her love of Christmas, and the NY Yankees. Grammy is survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-children: Kellie (Forrest) DiLoreto, of Peterborough, NH; Matthew Forrest, Andrew Forrest and partner Britta Leonard of Lakewood, CO; Rebecca Forrest of Dublin, NH; Christine and partner Matt Watts of South Lyon, MI; Daniel Forrest of Temple, NH; Joseph and Caitlyn of Medford, NY; Julia and partner Tristan Cruz of Levitown, NY; Isabella and Simon Kopecky, of Waterbury, CT, and great-children, Manny DiLoreto and Olin and Freya Forrest.
